The images below are basically a time line of the project. The plan was a raised garden for herbs, veggies that was somewhat critter proof. We were also tasked with using recycled treated lumber which turned out to be very rewarding.
Yes the lumber for the fence is actually very old, 10-15 years I am told. We found it stacked in a large pile and refurbished it by removing all the nails and washing every piece until it looked mostly new.
The potting shed itself was made with rough white oak and was built in an old school out building style. I am going to do another post on it on its own because it is something we offer, custom built, interesting and functional buildings.

Here is how we started the project, Just a general idea and some goals.
Here we are getting the bones of the project installed.
Now we are getting somewhere.
Finally coming all together, looks great.

Fresh install of a bubble rock, it sounds so soothing and looks beautiful. It looks a little rough right now but when it is planted and grown in it will look like a natural part of the landscape. Birds and other creatures love the water and it sounds amazing, very little maintenance involved.

Starting with the plan
We designed and installed this nice landscape in Shepherdstown WV. Design work takes quite a bit of time and work so we do not offer a free service for that but if you want a quality design tailored to your property we can do it. This was the first draft, if you drive by the property today you will see we changed some things around per customer needs.

In this project we removed and recycled an older paver patio and replaced it with this more interesting irregular flagstone patio. In this project we worked with another local landscape company - Native Havens - which was a pleasure to work with.

We used 6 tons of natural bluestone to create this beautiful walkway to the out building. The whole area had to be regraded adding some 100 tons of soil and drains for water run off, quite a challenge.
